"My work explores natural light, quiet moments, and the simple stories found in everyday life. I focus on the subtle and the fleeting, creating images that feel calm, curious, and deeply connected"
Hi, I’m Zoe. I’m a photographer based in the Blue Mountains, NSW.
I’ve loved taking photos since childhood, focusing on capturing natural landscapes, "little moments" in nature, and quiet, fleeting street scenes. I am constantly inspired by my time spent bushwalking, camping, and guiding women’s adventure trips.
In 2022, my image "Early Bird" was featured by Australian Geographic
in their round-up of the year's most-loved photographs.
My work reflects a deep connection to the outdoors and the stillness found in wild places. I’m drawn to subtle shifts of light, small details that are easily overlooked, and the sense of calm that comes from being in nature. My photography style is natural, candid, and colourful, with the occasional touch of moodiness.
Photography brings me a sense of peace, patience, and grounding; it slows me down and helps me pay attention to the quieter moments around me. Through my images, I hope to inspire curiosity, connection, and a feeling of gentle wonder. For prints of my work, visit my shop, and I'm also open to exhibition and gallery enquiries.
